There is a moment in my marriage where terrible boredom sets in. I think it happens a lot now since I am in my 40s, it does sound weird but I have to deal with it. I thought I am tough enough that I can control that unexplainable emotion but not all the time. Last week was one of my weakest moments and I dragged my husband to the mall, got some few books from our favorite book store and left him at the coffee shop with his new found books and a mug of Mocha Cappuccino.
Then I went to the ladies department shop and browsed around and I found some items with discounted sales tags. I was so happy with my loot. I was about to go when I spotted a very beautiful white lingerie item made of lace. The lace has a very intricate design and its detail is perfectly done. It has a skin-baring short bodice with a little-bit-revealing neckline. The fabric is extremely soft so that even a touch makes anything feel romantic. It look enticingly sexy and it will become sexier because I intend to wear it. I swear to God that I have to buy it, on sale or not.
When I returned to the coffee shop I was grinning like a Cheshire cat. My husband with all his goodness was happy seeing me in a better mood asked me what I got from the bag and all I said was, Lace Embrace.
